Welcome!

Thanks for visiting us! The Wildflower Cafe & Coffee House is a family owned and operated Cafe in Downtown Mason, Ohio.  We feature the freshest and purest ingredients available, in a creative and unique style.  Most of our food and drink are locally sourced and/or Organic, and all of it is super good.  Our goal is to serve the best food and drink we can, while minimizing our impact on the Earth, and helping to generate a sustainable local food economy.  We encourage consumers to ask where their food came from, what occurred during it's production, and what purpose does it serve for our bodies.  We believe in independent businesses, and strive to be entirely different from all the chains.  We don't have a hostess stand, we don't serve Pop, we don't serve cheap food, and on beautiful days, we open the windows and doors and don't turn on our A/C.  We do serve the highest quality, most delicious food, handmade with love, in our own kitchen, by our own Chef, who is also the owner.  His wife, friends and family serve it, and pour the wine.  We only have a few employees, all of which are top-notch folks.  If its real busy, we might have our Mom's helping out.  We are not the Maisonette, we are not McDonald's, we are The Wildflower Cafe and we think you'll love our place.  If you come out and try the food, we bet you'll be come back often.  While your here, feel free to pick a peach from the front yard, or maybe an heirloom tomato from the garden, then pop in the kitchen and say hello, we'd be glad to see you.

We feature a regularly changing menu, but we also offer a few house specialties, all day, everyday.  Make sure to check out our menu page to see some examples of our delicious food.  We raise some of our own food: herbs, veggies, and grass-fed beef.  When we can, we buy from local sources, and organic producers, but sometimes that can be a difficult thing to do.  Sometimes we run out of stuff, cause the farm ain't got it, but that's O.K. with us, cause thats how its suppossed to be.  We don't have a freezer either, so we have to buy exact amounts of stuff, so basically put, everything comes in and is gone in a day or two, sometimes its gone in an hour.  The only ingredients we have regularly are all the fresh herbs and heirloom veggies from our back yard and our small garden, and even that eventually fades with the seasons.  Hungry yet?

Stop by and celebrate our renovated house's centennial year with us!  Swing on down and enjoy a cup of my buddy Chuck's locally roasted coffee, it's called La Terza and its the best you'll ever taste!  Thanks for supporting local businesses and many family farms across America!

Hurry up and get in here before all the good stuff is gone!
